I live about 15 minutes from the Caribe Royale, but I'll be bringing my family to stay for the conference because it's THAT nice. In addition to spacious and comfortable rooms, the food is great and they have great amenities like a complimentary 2 story fitness center, in-suite refrigerator and microwave, 24 hour room service and complimentary parking (That's a big savings over the $10-$15 a day that most of the higher end area hotels charge).

Is the Caribe as posh as the Ritz, no way. But then, you won't be paying over $350 a night either. The Caribe's suites are typically just over $200 a night and we've worked out a special deal for our seminar attendees for just $137 per night. Our goal was to find a place that would offer the most comfortable and upscale atmosphere at the best value possible. We nailed this one dead-on. This place is great!
